Yes,
El'BOB-Arino, 1610 has been insured by Progressive, through USAA for the past 3 years and the price has stayed the same (~$300/yr... A little bit less). Just renewed last week.
Note, USAA won't insure directly, but they have a "Progressive Office" that insures boats.
BTW...BOB in the past 2 years has: A complete hull paint job (cost more than what I paid for the boat), new Anderson winches, a new Honda 5hp outboard, a new...this year Harken roller furling, a new foresail, a new mast, running rigging, and standing rigging
(spreader et. all) from Ensign Spars, a new bilge pump and a new battery. Besides that, I've worked and refinished some of the woodwork (combing and trim), side pockets, etc. and grouted the joints. When she comes out of the water this winter, I'm going
to take the bench seats out and refinish them at home and during the spring, paint and epoxy some rough spots on the inside. Believe the wife bought me the Ensign badging for the combing for Father's Day...but I polished up the partially broken old ones pretty
well. Not my intent to "rebuild a boat" 3 years ago, but the 3 teenagers I bought the boat to teach sailing to got board and have no interest, so I turned my attention inwards. Happy sailing.

Rob Briede
