Eyehole size for mainsheet
Author Last Post

Update - a 1" eyehole will work well. Also the looping approach is a good backup. ;-)

Hello!

I'm buying a new 10mm mainsheet and realized that my mainsheet attaches to the traveller with an eyehole. I'm not at my boat to measure the eyehole but I'm wondering if it's a standard size for traveller blocks. I'm attaching a photo (sorry for the poor quality) but you can see that the block attached to my traveller car has the bitter end secured to the center. I could probably just loop the sheet through the eyehole so as long as the eyehole is bigger than the 10mm sheet I'd be fine. First time I've done this so any advice is apprecisted.

Thanks!
