Formatting of Forum Messages

I am about to post a formatted forum message on rules changes.

If you wish to receive this and other messages with the formatting intact instead of as a plain text message, go to your Profile and then under General Forum Preferences make sure the following is set:

Under Message Delivery - Email Format choose Rich Text formatting in the body of the message.

Then check the box in front of: Check this box to apply these message delivery options to all my forums.

If you want to post formatted messages, in General Forum Preferences make sure the following is set:

Under Authoring Messages - Preferred Text Editor choose  Advanced - With Formatting Tools

Then check the box in front of:  Check this box to apply the signature settings to all my forums

Click on Save

Do you think most members know where their profile settings can be found, and that they must be logged in to access it?

I usually tell them but did not this time.  I can fix that in the email.

You must be logged into your account to view your Profile.

 

To access your Profile, put your mouse over your name at the top right hand part of the page. Then click Profile on the menu that drops down.

 

The Forum General Preferences are found at the lower left part of your Profile page.
