Jib track backer
Mike,

You might try mixing an epoxy putty and spread it as smooth and flat as you can under the toe rail and the drill and use fender washers. I will add a little more strength to the toe rail also.

Zeke

All,

I'm installing new Harken 2751 curved jib tracks. The old track from the factory was backed up with a strip of teak and fender washers. (At least in 1962) A # 10 screw and a 1.0" fender washer fit the new track. But I'd really like a stronger backer strip. Harken doesn't offer anything. Any good ideas for a backer other then stainless fender washers?
