We have a worn mainsail that started with a little rip that we could tape up, but then grew to a big rip. Our sailmaker said the sail is too thin and old to repair. We're at the point in our sailing "career" where a new mainsail is just not worth it. Looking for a decent, used sail that has perhaps a few good seasons left. If the situation looks good, we'd pay to have it shipped to us; I'm in Albany NY, but travel through New England. (Also, I'm still inexperienced with this forum. If someone thinks I should be placing this post in another location, please shout out). I see there are others ahead of me who are also looking for a mainsail, so I might be in line!
