I finally received this from Ensign Spars, but alas it doesn't fit our old mast slot. I called and emailed them repeatedly to return it, but no response. It was $60 plus shipping, I'll take $60 and pay for shipping to you. Photos below.
UPDATE: Vic Roberts responded with the following message below-sounds like an easy modification if someone needs this. I just checked it against our mast again, and he is right it doesn't fit in the slot. It is a perfect cylinder of aluminum, if you file down each side opposite each other to make it shaped like this ( ) instead of a perfect cylinder it will work fine. Thanks Vic! We still don't need it though as we ended up attaching our vang to the deck (on a strong, existing loop).
Thanks,

Joel,
When I received my vang anchor the rod was the right size to fit in the track, but was too big for the slot. I filed down the two sides so the rod would fit into the slot. This was easy because the rod is aluminum. This, of course, will prevent you from returning the vang holder.
I agree this is a sloppy design, and Ensign Spars should have added the flats. But after you make the necessary modifications, it should work quite well.
