Fleet 31 in Hessel, Michigan had a mobile, rubber tire, crane to launch and retrieve the boats at the 2017 Nationals. Joel Birkmeier or Tom LaBelle might have that rental information.

The NY State boat ramp at Saratoga Lake,NY, home of Fleet 72, is a bit shallow for some trailers, and at low water, may be too short for normal trailers. For years we have used the services of a professional boat hauler who has a hydraulic trailer. But he may be leaving the business due to health reasons. We are therefore working on options to supplement trailer launch and retrieval.
Have any Fleets rented portable cranes to launch and retrieve Ensigns from and to trailers? If so, can you describe the type of crane you have used and the approximate cost?
